Job summary

Mercy is seeking graduates or experienced RNs for full-time, night-shift positions in the Cardiac Pavilion at Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO. Nurses will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Eligible candidates include graduates from an accredited nursing program who hold or are pursuing RN licensure. Sign-on bonuses and bridging programs are offered to support education and retention.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure with continued requirements.
• BLS certification or you will obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform required physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Upholds patient rights and confidentiality in all duties.
