Michigan Medicine is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Cardiovascular Center operating rooms. You will prepare sterile equipment, pass instruments, sponges and sutures to the operating team, and assist with turnover and transfers as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with at least two years of experience; NBSTSA certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Two years' experience as a Surgical Technologist

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sterile equipment for operative procedures
• Pass instruments, sponges and sutures to the operating team
• Assist with inventory and sterilization of instruments
• Prepare and select equipment for procedures and transfers as needed
• Turnover and transfer of instruments to CSR/Decontamination and return equipment to place
