Job summary

Jefferson Health's Abington campus is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a part-time schedule (20 hours per week, days). The incumbent will circulate and scrub for procedures, collaborate with the surgical team, and provide patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering safe perioperative care, educating patients and families, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma or equivalent nursing program graduate.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care principles.
• Experience with circulating and scrubbing in OR settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and OR staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-op care and recovery.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the OR.
