Job summary

Abington Lansdale Hospital is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to circulate and scrub in the Operating Room for multiple services. Completion of Periop 101 or prior OR experience is required.

The nurse will collaborate with patients, families, and inter-professional teams to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and communication, with nursing plans of care tailored to each patient’s needs and cultural values.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in nursing; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience in acute care preferred.
• Perioperative knowledge and patient-family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in operating room for multiple services.
• Follow perioperative protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Educate and engage patients and families in care planning.
