Jefferson Health in Center City, Philadelphia, is seeking a Surgical RN for the CVOR team. Evening and night shifts support our cardiac OR services, with prior OR experience or Periop101 completion required. Cardiac experience (vascular, thoracic, cardiac) is preferred.

The role involves providing nursing care, medication administration, and care coordination with documentation responsibilities. BSN preferred; valid RN license and BLS expected.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• State RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Prior OR experience or completion of the perioperative nursing program (Periop 101) is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Administers medications safely and monitors patient responses.
• Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Provides professional nursing care to a group of patients and completes required documentation.
