Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at the Abington campus. This part-time 20-hour-per-week position requires circulating experience and scrubbing preferred.

The role focuses on patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork within a high-acuity surgical environment. The position supports the nursing process, care planning with patients and families, and alignment with cultural beliefs and values.

Formación

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural awareness.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients and care partners.
• Ability to perform nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Knowledge of medication administration and discharge planning.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and safety protocols.
• BLS - Basic Life Support; AHA standards; RN license in PA.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in alignment with patient and family-centered goals.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and post-discharge steps.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, quality care.
• Follow nursing protocols, monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement.
• May participate in precepting and staff education as needed.
