Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear cardiology procedures and support cardiovascular care teams. Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals per orders and regulatory requirements.
• Perform nuclear cardiology imaging procedures (SPECT and PET) for cardiac studies.
• Assist with cardiac stress testing and monitor patient responses.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nuclear imaging equipment.
• Educate patients on testing procedures and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and imaging systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement, accreditation readiness, and department goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow.
