OSF HealthCare is seeking a Monitor Technician to support the Patient Care Team. You will observe, monitor, and interpret patients’ EKG rhythms from a remote viewing station, assemble and maintain logs, and ensure charts are filed and scanned into EMR promptly.

You will communicate with nursing staff, run errands as needed, and assist with acceptance, registration, and electronic transfer of patients. The role uses fax/copy, Hyland scanner, and pneumatic tube systems.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 6+ months experience in customer service and computer knowledge.
• Able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and computer messaging.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patients' EKG rhythms and interpret data per remote viewing station.
• Assemble and maintain logs; ensure charts are filed and scanned into EMR in a timely manner.
