McLaren Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician to join its Michigan network. The role involves vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EMR documentation, and assisting in gynecological exams and routine visits. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires.

Schedule is full-time, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-site work. Preferred CMA or RMA credentials; prior EMR and medical office experience are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a Medical Assistant or a Patient Care Tech.
• OR High school diploma or equivalent and completion of one of the following programs: medical assistant, emergency medical technician, nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse, armed services medic, or patient care technician.
• For Rural Health Designation clinics, BLS certification within 6 months of hire is required.
• For float positions, travel to or between clinics is required.
• Preferred: CMA or RMA certification.

• Maintains room readiness and equipment; documents interventions and patient responses in chart or EMR.
• Assists with routine procedures for gynecological exams, physicals and office visits.
