UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN-CNI) for the Cardiovascular Med Surg Department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The RN-CNI will support a 28-bed unit delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with standards and hospital policy.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure with ACLS/BLS; the nurse will participate in care planning, family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration while contributing to professional development on a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (may be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiovascular medical/surgical patients.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and care plans.
• Mentor and support new staff on the unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with the healthcare team.
