UC Health in Cincinnati is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN-CNI) for the CVICU at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This full-time night role supports a 24-bed CVICU delivering high-quality care based on assessed needs and established standards.

The RN will participate in care planning, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure compliance with policies. Requirements include Ohio RN licensure and graduate of an accredited nursing program; prior critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensed RN in Ohio required.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a busy 24-bed CVICU with cardiovascular support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status per policy and standards.
• Administer medications and assist in advanced cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Mentor and support new staff on the unit.
