Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Louisiana is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse to support cardiovascular physicians and staff. You will perform triage, documentation, injections, and coordination of care, maintaining patient records in EMR and paper systems.

You will respond to patient needs in clinic and by phone, assist with procedures, and support risk management through accurate vital signs and medication documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Louisiana LPN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS is a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems and patient communication.
• Experience in triage, injections, blood draws and assisting in diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians and staff.
• Triage, documentation, injections, diagnostic support, and care coordination.
• Maintain and update patient records in paper and/or EMR systems.
