Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging to coordinate patient care for CT & IR procedures. Under supervision, you will plan and organize care, document assessments, and support physicians during tests and interventions.

Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio RN license with ACLS/PALS within 1 year, BLS within 90 days, and preferred nursing or imaging background. This role involves on-site duties, call coverage, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Medical imaging background preferred

Responsibilities

• Gathers and coordinates patient care under supervision of the Manager of CT & IR
• Maintains patient safety and quality care following unit policies
• Assesses patients and documents appropriately in the medical record
• Assists physicians with tests and procedures and responds to emergencies
• Plans staffing to meet patient care needs and participates in scheduling
