Job summary

Advocate Health's Cardiac Intermediate unit is seeking aRegistered Nurse for a full-time, 36-hour week, 3rd shift (7p–7a) position. The unit cares for diverse cardiac patients including those awaiting or recovering from procedures in cath, EP, and OR settings.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in North Carolina, and BLS certification. Previous RN experience is preferred; shift and holiday/weekend requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care and support across the continuum with evidence-based practice.
