Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for patients on the 12-bed Reid unit, specializing in medical and cardiac diagnoses. You will monitor patients, titrate drips, and assist with bedside procedures.

Applicants must hold a valid NC RN license or compact state license, and be BCLS certified; experience is preferred as the unit handles complex cases and requires strong clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses on a 12-bed intermediate care unit.
• Initiate and titrate drips that require continuous cardiac monitoring and bedside procedures as needed.
• Assist with procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Education
