Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an RN for the CV IMU at The Woodlands Medical Center with at least 2 years of acute care experience, preferably CCU/IMU and strong cardiac knowledge. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a Magnet facility with 447 beds.

Shifts are 3x12s with every other weekend; BSN is preferred due to Magnet status. RN levels I–IV reflect increasing scope and responsibility within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and patient age.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes appropriate clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes using data, research, and standards of care.
• Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans; supports process improvement.
• Ensures patient-centered service, adheres to regulatory standards, and promotes professional development.
