Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide routine and complex care in a fast-growing, multidisciplinary setting. The nurse will perform assessments, plan and implement care using the nursing process, and educate patients and families while documenting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS recommended/per policy timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families; document care and patient history.
• Delegate appropriately according to competency and clinical setting.
