Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for Cardiac Imaging at Edward Hospital. This full-time role offers a day shift with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekends in a patient-centric environment.

The position requires IL RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 3 months of hire, with prior cardiac imaging experience preferred. Competitive benefits and professional growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• IL RN License required and active.
• Experience in Cardiac Imaging highly preferred.
• BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing.
• Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
• Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
• Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
• Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
