Job summary

Endeavor Health Careers is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Imaging in Bannockburn with site rotation. Full-time hours include 7:00-3:30, 7:30-4:00, or 8:00-4:30, with travel across Highland Park, Gurnee and Glenview. Must be able to rotate sites and participate in one Saturday on-call monthly.

Required: Nursing Bachelor’s Degree preferred, BLS and ACLS certifications, and Cardiac Imaging experience. Strong critical thinking and stress testing skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Cardiac Imaging.
• Solid critical thinking and stress testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing.
• Develop a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes and revises as needed.
• Provide patient assessment and collect health data from patient, family and other health care providers.
• Communicate plan of care to patient and family, and to physician and care team.
• Educate patient and family based on learning needs and cultural background.
• Document health data, interventions and communications.
• Contribute to professional development of peers and staff; support research and evidence-based practice.
• Assist with injection of contrast, venipuncture, 02 therapy, and IV management as needed.
