Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for Cardiac Imaging at Edward Hospital in Illinois. The role involves a full-time day shift with a rotating schedule, on-site duties, on-call responsibilities, and weekend coverage.

You will perform stress testing, assess patients, document data, and support the care team with contrast administration and IV management. HIPAA compliance is required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• IL RN License required.
• Cardiac Imaging experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing.
• Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
• Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
• Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
• Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
