Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an RN, Cardiac Imaging at Edward Hospital in Illinois for a full-time day shift with rotating schedule, typically Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The role includes on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage.

You will perform stress testing, conduct patient assessments, develop and document individualized care plans, assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medications, oxygen therapy, and IV management, and engage in education and performance

Qualifications

• IL RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing.
• Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving patient, family, and other healthcare providers.
• Develop and communicate individualized plan of care; evaluate patient progress and document data and communications.
• Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on learning needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research; stay current on trends in cardiac diagnostic testing.
