Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN specialized in Cardiac Imaging for a full-time day-shift role at Edward Hospital in Illinois. The position includes on-call and rotating weekend coverage, with a rotating schedule typically Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 per hour, with a new minimum $37.25 starting in October 2026. You will perform stress testing, assess patients, develop care plans, assist with contrast injections and IV management, and educate patients

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing.
• Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
• Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
• Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
• Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
