Edward Elmhurst Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Cardiac Imaging at Elmhurst Hospital in Naperville. Day shift, full-time with rotating schedule, on-call duties and weekend coverage. Begin with an IL RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 3 months of hire.

The role focuses on care planning, patient assessment, and teaching, with interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-family communication throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• IL RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required at hire; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Cardiac Imaging experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise a plan of care to meet patient outcomes.
• Assess patients and collect health data with family input.
• Communicate plan of care to patient, family and care team.
• Document health data, interventions and communications accurately.
• Provide patient and family teaching on disease management and care.
• Coordinate with peers and mentors; participate in education and on-call duties.
• Assist with on-call and rotating weekend coverage as assigned.
