Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5 years’ work experience in cardiac imaging.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Registration/certification as RVT, RDCS, or RCS.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities to streamline current operations and implement approved procedural changes.
• Develops coordinated resources and standardization of patient care and staff education.
• Manages cardiac imaging staff at multiple locations to ensure testing is completed timely and in a cost effective manner and develops benchmarking metrics to measure performance.
• Ensures all cardiac imaging sites comply with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Participates in the development of strategies, initiatives, programs such as new services, standardization across the organization, and increasing market share.
• Prepares monthly staffing schedule and adjusts as needed for vacations, LOA, illnesses, etc.
• Computes timecards and records attendance.
• Participates in personnel actions: interviewing, staff retention, motivation, performance appraisals, discipline, grievances, training, and work schedules. Maintains confidentiality.
• Performs occasional imaging as needed.
• Schedules in monthly department meetings.
• Participates on committees as assigned.
