Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health's Heart Hospital Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac ICU. You will conduct detailed clinical assessments, create and adjust care plans, and monitor patient responses after cardiac procedures.

You will educate patients and families, delegate tasks to the care team, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver safe, high-quality care. A 7a-7p, three 12-hour shifts schedule with weekend rotation is available; relocation assistance is provided for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Nursing as the specialized field of study.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required or obtain within 30 days of starting.
• Minimum 1 year ICU RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families; empower them with healthcare knowledge.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
• Prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the community to develop care plans; ensure patient needs are met.
