Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for Bliss 10i, a twelve-bed unit within the Heart and Vascular Institute. The role focuses on patients with MI, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure, and post-cardiac arrest, using advanced monitoring and support equipment.

Ideal candidates have a CT RN license, BSN, and BLS/ACLS with Arrhythmia certification, plus telemetry experience and cardiology/CCU exposure.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BSN required from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, and Arrhythmia Certification required before hire.
• Minimum one year Telemetry experience preferred.
• Previous Cardiology, Critical Care or Progressive Care experience preferred.
• In exceptional circumstances, ASN/ADN may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (Bliss 10i).
• Monitor patients using specialized equipment and act on arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Cardiovascular Surgical teams.
