Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join an interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care through the nursing process. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, be licensed as an RN, and obtain ACLS within one year and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
RN license issued by state nursing board.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Promotes evidence-based nursing practice using the nursing process, protocols and procedures.
Assess patient status through interview, observation and physical assessment.
Develops individualized care plans collaboratively with patient/family and health care team.
Uses interventions in the plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
Document patient progress and modify plans as condition changes.
Ensure accurate charting and event reporting.
Demonstrate professional accountability and ongoing self-development.
Operate and troubleshoot nursing equipment; maintain current nursing knowledge.
Support professional development of self and team members.
Share clinical knowledge through teaching and responding to learning needs.
Ensure patient handling safety with appropriate lift equipment as applicable.
