Job summary

UCHealth's Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Aurora, CO is hiring a registered nurse for day and night rotations. This onsite role requires ICU experience or UCHealth fellowship, with a competitive hourly pay range and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include direct ICU patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and supporting ongoing professional development within UCHealth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state-approved nursing program.
• State RN licensure active at start date.
• 6 months ICU RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand by start date.
• BLS and ACLS valid through sixty days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prioritize patient safety, wellness, and evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to orientation and precepting of new ICU staff and UCHealth teammates.
