Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification upon hire.
• Federal Drug Enforcement Admin (DEA) license upon hire as applicable.
• State licensure required: Physician Assistant license in SD or applicable state.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner: current licensure/certification by SD Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds on patients and perform assessments within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate and evaluate the plan of care and implement discharge plans under physician direction.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
• Oversee specimen testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance under supervision.
