Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Arrhythmia Service at the Heart and Vascular Institute, located at MidHudson Regional Hospital (Poughkeepsie), HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (Mary’s Ave and Broadway Campuses; Kingston), and New Windsor/St. Luke's-Cornwall Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience with cardiac electrophysiology, including cardiac device management.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing and managing arrhythmia patients, pre-admission testing for cardiac EP procedures, cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) interrogations, remote monitoring for CIEDs, and providing general support to Physicians and Medical Assistants. All duties are performed under the supervision of attending Cardiac Electrophysiologists, primarily in an outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient care.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State NP or PA license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cardiology experience required; Electrophysiology experience preferred
