Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (General Neurology)

We address two critical problems in neurology: access and quality. Access is limited due to a shortage of neurologists, leading to long wait times, while quality is hampered by diagnoses based on self-reported data with recency bias.

Neura serves major neurological conditions such as headache, migraine, sleep disorders, epilepsy, neurological pain, concussion, multiple sclerosis, and others. Our platform offers tools for effective patient-provider interactions to improve outcomes and reduce costs, including a mobile app and dedicated concierge support.

We seek clinicians interested in combining cutting-edge technology with challenging healthcare problems. Candidates should be experienced in evidence-based treatment of general neurology disorders, empathetic, compassionate, mission-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and examine patients with neurological complaints.
2. Provide diagnoses and care plans addressing health goals related to diet, exercise, stress, sleep, etc.
3. Review labs and imaging relevant to patient care.
4. Conduct follow-up appointments to adjust medications.
5. Offer chat-based support to patients during difficult journeys.
6. Create educational content for blogs and content library.

Requirements:

1. Licensed NP or PA.
2. Commitment of 8-16 hours per week.
3. ABPN certification or eligibility in Neurology.
4. Soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making, leadership.
