Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Park Ridge, IL. The role combines inpatient and outpatient EP care with a four 10-hour shift schedule and annual Saturdays, working closely with EP physicians and a team of APPs.

The APP will manage patients through the care continuum, from hospital-based management to ambulatory follow-up, with on-the-job training to develop advanced EP expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Active RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP licenses in state(s) of practice, and active national board certification.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire, and if Illinois practice: Illinois CS License prior to hire.
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and EP-related conditions.
• Manage inpatient care and ambulatory follow-up.
• Round with Electrophysiologist to evaluate new inpatient consults and admissions.
• Assume primary inpatient management after physician evaluation.
• Collaborate with EP physicians to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
