Job summary

Apex Heart and Vascular in New Jersey seeks a Cardiovascular Electrophysiologist to join a busy, well-established EP practice anchored by strong hospital affiliations.

Employed model with a base salary at the 99th percentile of MGMA, productivity-based incentives, and a partnership track; opportunities for academic involvement and research within a leading cardiovascular center.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology completed.
• Board certified or eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• New Jersey Medical License or eligible for licensure.
• Expertise in arrhythmia management, ablations, and device implantation.
• Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform AICD/PPM implantations and AF ablations.
• Utilize LAA closure devices when indicated.
• Participate in a busy EP practice and device clinic.
• Engage in academic involvement and mentorship of residents/fellows.

Practice Highlights:

• Independent practice with strong affiliations to both tertiary care hospitals and local community hospitals.

• Faculty role in an ACGME-accredited program, with active involvement in teaching.
• Step into a busy, well-established EP practice, supported by 8 Cardiologists and 12 providers and a thriving, organized device clinic.
• Perform a full range of advanced EP procedures:
  • AICD/PPM implantations
  • Atrial fibrillation ablations
  • LAA closure devices
  • Other cutting-edge electrophysiology procedures

• Comprehensive cardiovascular services:
  • Noninvasive, Invasive, Peripheral Vascular, Interventional, Structural Heart
  • Large, in-house diagnostic testing facility

• Full support teams to assist with patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Valid New Jersey Medical License.
• Expertise in:
  • Managing arrhythmias
  • Performing ablations
  • Implanting cardiac devices
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care, innovation, and outcomes.
