Orlando Health, Inc. seeks an EKG Technician to perform EKGs and place event monitors under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

You will document findings accurately, transcribe physician orders, and assist with cardio procedures and testing in a busy hospital environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a basic ECG interpretation course, and current BLS certification.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of the Basic ECG Interpretation for Non-Licensed Personnel course.
• Maintenance of current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Mansioni

• Perform EKGs and place Event monitors on patients.
• Prepare completed EKGs for physician interpretation.
• Document accurately in patient records and communicate orders from physicians.
• Assist with cardiac testing and conveyor processes as directed by the cardiology team.
• Transcribe verbal and telephone orders to patient records.
• Support the cardio-pulmonary team during emergencies and procedures.
• Assist with clerical duties and data entry as needed.
• Coordinate with the cardiology staff to ensure proper device interrogation when required.
