Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform specialized diagnostic ultrasound exams and support radiologists. You will position patients, operate GE/Philips cardiac units, and ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation.

You’ll prepare and file images in PACS and maintain safety standards. Applicants should have a two-year accredited ultrasound program and 3+ years of experience with at least one year of specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two (2) year accredited program in Ultrasound.
• Three (3) years of experience or more, with at least one (1) year of Certification in Specialty.
• Current vascular or cardiac sonography certification/licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized and routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures as directed.
• Prepares and positions patient and explains procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Operates GE and Philips cardiac units and advanced imaging software as required.
• Prepares images for radiologist interpretation and ensures quality control.
