Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound principles and anatomy as required for echocardiography.
• CPR certified and current; RDMS/RDCS recommended or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Presents competent patient care per ASE guidelines and physician orders.
• Performs echocardiograms, including TEE studies, with preliminary interpretation.
• Uses ultrasound to guide invasive procedures under supervision.
• Maintains equipment safety and consistent quality checks.
• Participates in teaching, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provides pre/post-procedure patient instruction and updates knowledge to ASE standards.
• Maintains CPR certification and CEU requirements.
