You will collaborate with cardiology teams, document in EMR, and assist with TEEs, stress echoes, and Doppler exams, while maintaining equipment and complying with safety protocols.

Qualifications include 1-3 years of echocardiography experience and RDMS/BCLS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography
• RDMS certification preferred
• BCLS within first 7 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies, including 2-D imaging, M-mode tracings, and Doppler recordings.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout procedures and proper positioning.
• Acquires Stress Echo and Dobutamine images with post-exercise imaging within 60 seconds or less.
• Assists physicians with TEEs, ensuring optimal imaging and patient safety.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
• Documents preliminary reports and results in the EMR, maintaining confidentiality.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and consents before procedures.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to provide information for timely interpretation by cardiologists.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and adapts imaging techniques accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains attendance.
