Job summary

Regional One Health seeks an experienced echocardiography technician to perform noninvasive heart imaging and related tasks. You will review records, explain procedures to patients, and operate ultrasound equipment with precision, ensuring accurate documentation.

On-call coverage is required, and you must maintain HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards. Required ARDMS or CCI certification, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of echo experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of ARDMS or CCI certification program required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire or within 1.5 years.
• Minimum 2 years experience performing adult and/or pediatric echocardiograms preferred.
• Must maintain competencies and stay current with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive diagnostic echocardiograms as directed and according to standards.
• Review patient records to obtain identifying information for echocardiograms.
• Explain procedures to patients in a compassionate, clear manner.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and document results accurately in patient records.
• Provide on-call and callback coverage as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and hospital policies.
