Job summary

Virtua Health in Cherry Hill seeks an echocardiographer to perform high quality ultrasound images of the heart, including 2D Doppler, stress echo, and transesophageal studies. You will support policies and work within ACC laboratories standards.

Responsibilities include completing studies, editing in the digital system, and preparing data for physician interpretation. Requires ARDMS/CCI credentials and BLS; pediatric RDCS credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year echocardiography experience.
• Knowledge of Stress and Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• Graduate of accredited echocardiography program.
• BLS certification required.
• RDCS Pediatric credential or approval by pediatric cardiologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D echo Doppler studies and edits in digital system for interpretation.
• Completes stress echo and dobutamine stress echo studies for interpretation.
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms with cardiologist and documents results.
