Job summary

Virtua Health's Cardiology echocardiography team in Cherry Hill seeks an experienced echocardiographer to perform high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart, including 2D echo Doppler, stress echo, and transesophageal procedures, aligned with ACC laboratories standards and department policies. The role is part-time, on-site at 1 Brace Rd, with a per diem classification and hourly rate of $52.50.

Candidates must have ARDMS or CCI credentials within one year, BLS, and pediatric RDCS credentials

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Knowledge of Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• BLS Certification required.
• Pediatric Echocardiography requires RDCS Pediatric credential or approval by interpreting pediatric cardiologists.

Responsibilities

• Completes 2D echo Doppler studies, edits in digital system, and processes for physician interpretation.
• Completes stress echo and dobutamine stress echo studies, edits in digital system, and processes for physician interpretation.
• Completes transesophageal echocardiograms with the cardiologist, edits and processes for physician interpretation.
