Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ, seeks an echocardiographer to perform high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and support the cardiology team in various echo procedures.

Requirements include at least 1 year of echocardiography experience, credentialing within one year (ARDMS or CCI), and BLS certification. Pediatric RDCS credential may be required for pediatric cases. This is a part-time on-site role with favorable benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Knowledge of Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program.
• Credentialing required within one year of hire (ARDMS or CCI).
• BLS Certification; RDCS Pediatric credential for pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D echo Doppler studies and processes for physician interpretation.
• Completes stress echo and dobutamine stress echo studies with data handling.
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms with cardiologist oversight.
• Adheres to department policies and Virtua Health Mission and Procedures.
