Job summary

A leading health organization seeks an experienced Echocardiographer in New Jersey to perform high-quality ultrasound images of the heart, including echo Doppler studies and transesophageal echocardiograms. Candidates must have at least 1 year of echocardiography experience and be graduates of an accredited echocardiography program. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Echo techs must be credentialed through ARDMS or CCI within one year of hire.
• Pediatric Echocardiography requires RDCS Pediatric credential.

Responsibilities

• Completes 2D echo Doppler studies for physician interpretation.
• Completes stress echo and dobutamine studies.
• Completes transesophageal echocardiograms with the cardiologist.

Skills

Echocardiography experience

Knowledge of Stress Echocardiography

Knowledge of Transesophageal Echocardiography

BLS certification

Education

Graduate of accredited echocardiography program
