Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join the Cardio Non-Invasive department. You will perform adult echo, TEE and stress echo in a high-volume setting, ensuring accurate imaging and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical experience, ARDMS/CCI certification or eligibility, and BLS. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver quality patient care while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular program.
• ARDMS or CCI Cardiac Sonographer certification (uncertified eligible must obtain within 12 months).
• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following orders; oversees echocardiographic services and follows scanning protocols.
• Educates patients and families about procedures; supports teamwork and patient outcomes.
• Produces high-quality images and provides preliminary findings to physicians.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures per policy.
• Maintains equipment QC and a safe environment; ensures regulatory compliance.
