Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiographic procedures assisting physicians in diagnosis. The role requires participation in call rotation and call-back testing.

Education includes a 2–4 year Allied Health program; two years of cardiac sonography experience preferred and new grads are welcome to apply. Certification through ARDMS/CCI is required with 12 months to obtain after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2–4-year Allied Health training program.
• Two years of cardiac sonography training preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• BLS certification required; AHA Healthcare Provider.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS/ACS certification required; 12 months to obtain after hire.
• Must be available for call rotation and call-back testing.
• Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, peers and patients.
