Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio is seeking an Echo/Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to perform physician-ordered diagnostic exams, including echocardiograms and TEEs, under the Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager. You will document results, prepare patients, and ensure equipment readiness in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualified candidates are registry eligible for RDCS/RDMS-FE (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) and may have an associate or bachelor's degree with clinical ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Registry eligible for RDCS/RDMS-FE from ARDMS or RCS from CCI.
• Association of degrees or experiences per ARDMS/CCI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms (2-D, M-mode, color Doppler, pulsed wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler).
• Performs TEEs (routine and CVOR) and carotid imaging as ordered.
• Documents results and maintains patient records per hospital policy.
• Ensures proper equipment operation and follow-up cleaning/maintenance.
