Job summary

Vighter is recruiting multiple Echocardiograph Technologists to provide patient care support at the Audie L. Murphy VAMC in San Antonio, TX and surrounding clinics. Echo Techs perform ultrasound exams and related studies to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of echocardiography experience, RDCS or ARDMS certification, and current BLS/ACLS. Excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved program in diagnostic medical sonography.
• Minimum of two years' echocardiography experience.
• Certification by RDCS or ARDMS is required.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification.
• Active U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations per established procedures.
• Use Doppler and echocardiography techniques to assess cardiac function.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment.
• Obtain diagnostic images and measurements while monitoring patient condition.
• Communicate findings and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
