Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR is hiring an Echocardiograph Technologist for a full-time day shift. The role performs cardiac ultrasound exams, supports invasive echo procedures, and requires on-call coverage evenings and weekends.

A generous $8,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions. Required credentials include Oregon Sonographer, plus NRC/Advanced NRC or ARDMS certifications and BLS.

Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer upon hire.
• National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or.
• National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Identifies presence or absence of disease using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Assists with invasive echocardiography including TEE and echo-guided procedures.
• Adapts procedures for special circumstances and provides cost-effective information.
• Participates in standby and on-call coverage evenings and weekends.
