Job summary

UF Health The Villages is seeking a cardiac sonographer to perform routine and specialized echocardiographic studies, including stress lab procedures, under the direction of the director/ cardio diagnostics supervisor.

The role requires completion of post-high school training, registry-eligible or certified, and active BLS. English proficiency is essential; one year of experience is preferred for candidates who join our team in Florida.

Qualifications

• Education: Post High School Special Training.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Graduate of an Accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program - Registry eligible at the time of hire; RDCS or RCS Credentialing must be obtained within 12 months of hire date; Active BLS.
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: One year experience preferred; Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• The cardiac sonographer performs routine and specialized echocardiographic studies inclusive of stress lab procedures.
