Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a qualified Echocardiography Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound studies and provide accurate, timely results for medical diagnosis. You will prepare patients, position them, and operate ultrasound equipment consistent with ASE standards to produce high-quality images.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI credentials (or registry eligibility with timely attainment), and state-specific licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited two-year Cardiac Ultrasound Program (ND/ SD/ MN as applicable).
• ARDMS or CCI certification, or registry eligible within 12–18 months depending on state.
• NDMIRT Board licensure if practicing in North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography tests/procedures per ASE standards.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for exams.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images for diagnosis.
• Provide preliminary summaries of findings to the interpreting physician.
• Train students and assist in accreditation processes as needed.
