Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND seeks an ultrasound professional to perform adult and pediatric echocardiography at hospital and outpatient sites. Rotate call including weeknights, weekends, and holidays; may travel to outreach sites. Maintain high standards of patient care and ethics.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, RDCS AE, and RDCS PE (or obtained within 12 months); ND licensure if applicable. A $30,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
• RDCS AE certification is required.
• RDCS PE registry certification or must be obtained within 12 months of training is required.
• If working in North Dakota licensure through the ND Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board is required.

Responsibilities

• Take call at the hospital on a rotational basis including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Rotate between clinic and hospital to perform echoes on congenital adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform echoes at the pediatric echo clinic and other outreach sites as needed.
• Ensure safety, comfort and ethical standards during procedures.
• Train and orientate new employees and students.

Education

Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent

RDCS AE certification

RDCS PE registry certification or must be obtained within 12 months

ND licensure (NDMIRT) if applying in North Dakota
